+3532840609The SCOTT Spark DC Factory takes everything we know about cross-country dominance and applies it to a design built for bigger trails. Engineered with greater suspension travel for harder-hitting terrain and paired with race-inspired performance, it's a platform purpose-built for deep missions into the mountain.
Every detail is considered to help you flow, climb, jump, and descend with equal confidence. A low center of mass creates a planted, controlled ride and a stable pedaling platform that keeps you grounded through the chaos—with no wasted energy. The lightweight, responsive feel comes courtesy of an HMX carbon frame engineered to make every gram count, delivering a ride worthy of the Spark legacy.
The suspension design draws directly from what we've learned at the World Cup level across both XC and Downhill. The result is a 140mm front and 138mm rear short-travel setup that refuses to be pigeonholed.
RockShox's Pike trail fork and SIDLuxe XL shock—both with electronically controlled Ultimate Flight Attendant—adapt in real time to the terrain ahead, so you can open it up and ride without limits, knowing the ideal suspension setting is always dialed in. Equipped with SRAM's XX SL Eagle AXS Transmission drivetrain with power meter and Syncros Silverton CF1 wheels, the bike delivers a taste of World Cup racing performance on every trail you choose.
Its capability extends well beyond setting a high pace. Generous mounting points support a full bikepacking setup for multi-day escapes, while integrated frame storage keeps your MTB essentials close—like our Save The Day kit. And when it's time for maintenance, suspension adjustments and component swaps are straightforward by design—so you can set the bike up exactly how you like it and get back on the trail with minimal interruption. This is the evolution of the short-travel ripper—a bike that opens your riding to so much more than trail.

Lightweight Design
Lightweight performance is part of the Spark DNA, but on the all-new Spark DC it’s about more than grams. The frame layout was redesigned from the ground up to achieve purposeful weight distribution and true ride balance. By positioning the shock and kinematics low and central, the bike feels composed at speed, precise in corners, and efficient under power. Light where it matters. Stable where it counts.
Suspension Layout
The refined flex-pivot system delivers 138 mm of highly efficient rear travel with reduced complexity and uncompromising performance. By eliminating unnecessary hardware and optimizing pivot placement, the system reduces weight while increasing torsional stiffness and long-term durability. A custom-tuned shock with bearing eyelets further reduces friction, significantly improving small-bump sensitivity and initial stroke response. The result is a rear end that reacts with precision, maintains grip over technical terrain, and delivers consistent support throughout the travel.
Shock Compatibility
We get it, riders love their own setups. So we designed the frame with plenty of space and compatibility for a wide range of aftermarket shocks. Run what you like. Swap what you want. The Spark DC accommodates aftermarket shock options from leading suspension brands such as, RockShox SidLux XL FA, RockShox SidLux XL, Fox Float, Öhlins TTX22M.2, RockShox Super Deluxe.
Frame Access
Clean looks need to come with clean solutions. That’s why we reinvented the way of accessing the internal compartment with a new magnetic down tube cover, faster and simpler than ever. Clipped in place, it prevents excessive dirt and dust to accumulate and get into your frame. This not only keeps the shock performing at its best for longer, but also speeds up cleaning your bike after a muddy day out.
Save-The-Day-Kit & Tool
No modern mountain bike should be without a smart in-frame storage solution. At SCOTT Spots we call this “Save The Day Kit”, which features a neat in-frame bag including a super-light tube, a pump, and a set of tire leavers. On top, a additionally included tool allows all adjustments required for daily use on the bike: a 6mm hex, a T25 Torx for the rear axle and additional frame hardware, and depending on the shock spec, a 3mm or 2.5mm hex for shock adjustment.
Cable Routing
Run your cables the way you want to. The Spark DC gives you multiple routing options plus smart touches to keep everything clean, quiet, and out of the way, without adding unnecessary complexity. You can choose between the clean looking sleek integrated solution through the headset, or route your cables through the head tube badge while running a “regular” bar/stem combination.
Sag & Travel
Setting up your suspension just got foolproof. The integrated SAG Indicator helps you dial things in fast and keep track of your travel as you ride.
Frame Fender
We all sometimes like to get dirty, but mostly we like to stay clean. Pop on the frame fenders and keep the crud away. Easy, practical, and genuinely handy when the weather turns bad.
Steering Stopper
Not needed, till you need it. In the event of a crash, the Steering Stopper protects your frame and controls the overrotation of your handlebar. It’s also removable if you prefer full freedom.
