Thebikerack.ie (referred to as "The Bikerack," "we," "us," "our" and other similar pronouns) makes available this Web site and all site-related services (collectively, the "Site") subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement (the "Agreement"). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may not use the Site or any of the services made available through the Site.

This Agreement is made between The Bikerack, and each Site visitor and/or Member (including all Site visitors or Members that are entities, individuals, employers, job candidates and general visitors of the Site) (individually and collectively referred to herein as "you"). We reserve the right at any time to:

  • Change the terms of this Agreement;
  • Change the Site, including eliminating or discontinuing any content on, feature of or service made available through the Site; or
  • Change any fees or charges for use of the Site.

Any changes we make will be effective upon notice, which we may provide through various means including, without limitation, posting the updated version on the Site or notice via electronic mail. Your use of the Site after such notice will be deemed acceptance of such changes. Be sure to review this Agreement periodically to ensure familiarity with the most current version.


All transactions are processed in EUR.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

We aim to get your order dispatched where possible within a 24 hour period so you can expect 2 to 3 working days from time of order to delivery anywhere in Ireland.

Upon shipping of your order we will provide you with tracking details via email. If there is any issues that will cause delay we will contact you and offer you an alternative or refund if you do not wish to wait.

We ship using DPD, Fastway and TNT who offer a very reliable service Europe-wide. On international deliveries on bulkier items like Bikes and Bike Racks may be subject to extra shipping charges. We will notify you of these as and when they will apply. If you would like a quote including shipping before ordering, please contact us.

Any Duties or Import fees are shall be borne by the buyer. We are not responsible for any duty or import fees for international orders where such fees apply.

Click and Collect Policy

For all click and collect orders you will receive email notification when your order is ready for collection.

We require photo ID upon collection of your order.

If you cannot produce photo ID or if the proof of identity produced does not match the details of the billing method used for your order, we may not be able to release your order until sufficient identification is produced for security purposes.

Customer Service Policy

The Bikerack is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct.

In the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a back-order or a full refund.

Where product specifications are listed please note that our suppliers hold the right to make specification changes to improve their products without prior notification. This may cause a short-term differences in the information listed on our website and the delivered product but rest-assured we will do our best to keep products updated accordingly. Similarly all images on the site are considered to be for illustration purposes only. While we strive to ensure the product images match the delivered product exactly, due to periodical manufacturer spec changes the images displayed may differ from the delivered product or packaging.

While such specification changes are typically made at the manufacturer level and are thus out of our control, we will always do our best to ensure our customers are totally happy with the products they order from us. If in the unlikely case that upon receipt of your order, you believe that the spec of the product you have received differs from the specification listed on our website please contact us within 48hrs of delivery and we will asses the case to offer a replacement or refund if required. If the product has been used, does not have it's original packaging or has not been brought to our attention within 48hrs of receipt, we will not be able to offer a refund or replacement or may need to charge a restocking fee.

Exchange, Returns, & Refunds Policy

As the purchaser, you are entitled to a cooling-off period of 14 days, which begins on the day that you receive the goods. You must contact us before the 14 days expire. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. An indication of this cost can be gleaned from the shipping fees originally charged to you. We suggest using a registered/insured postage method for returns as we cannot assume any responsibility for any damage that occurs during return postage.

If you have received an incorrect item/s please contact us within 48hrs. In the case of an incorrect order we will bare the cost of return shipping and will be in touch to arrange courier collection at your convenience and to ensure the correct item/s are resent without delay. Alternatively in the case of an incorrect order we will offer a full refund if the entire order is returned or a partial refund to the amount of the returned items. 

We cannot accept returns on any product where there are clear signs of use or damage. We may also not be able to offer a refund/exchange on products which are not returned in their original packaging or where the packaging has significant damage.

If the purchase you wish to cancel is a service (e.g. a bike maintenance service) . We would appreciate it if you provide us with as much notice as possible given (via email or telephone) to and acknowledged by, The Bikerack.

Workshop, Servicing & Storage Policy

For the purposes of this policy the term "Bike" shall refer to any bicycle, bicycle frame, wheel or any other component, accessory or personal belonging that has been left on our premises for any service work or commercial purpose. For the purpose of this policy "commercial purposes" include but are not exclusive to servicing, repair services, safety assessment & quotation and any other non-physical product or service offered by us.

For the purpose of this policy the term "service", "servicing", "service work" shall refer to all services offered by us including but not exclusive to service, maintenance and repair work, insurance assessment, warranty processing or any other commercial service offered by the business.

Storage Fees

Any customer *bike, frame, wheel or other bike part or accessory that has been left on our premises or in our possession for the purpose of servicing, repair work or for any other reason is required to be collected within 3 weeks of completion of the service or repair.

The customer will be notified by phone call, text or email when the "service" is complete and the bike is ready for collection.

If the customer have not received an update within 2 weeks of dropping off their bike, we suggest contacting the shop for an update on the status of their service.

If the customer bike or possession is not collected within 21 days of notification of completion of service, a €20 per week storage fee will apply for every week that the bike remains in our possession/on our premises.

If the bike has not been collected within 3 months of notification of completion of the service, we reserve the right to sell or dispose of the bike to compensate for the cost of storage.
