Shipping & Returns
At the Bikerack we aim to get your orders to you quickly, safely and at a competitive price. We use trusted couriers and offer free nationwide shipping on all orders over €50. We ship using DPD, Fastway, TNT and An Post who offer a very reliable service Europe-wide.
On international deliveries on bulkier items like Bikes and Bike Racks may be subject to extra shipping charges. We will notify you of these as and when they will apply. If you would like a quote including shipping before ordering, please contact us.
Our website indicates each product's availability and dispatch times will vary depending on wether the item is stocked in our Dublin store or one of our warehouse locations.
For items that are in-stock in our Dublin store:
We aim to process your orders within a 24 hour period so you can expect 2 to 3 working days from time of order to delivery anywhere in Ireland. For orders placed before 1pm, we endeavour to offer same day shipping where possible.
For items that are in-stock in the warehouse:
Items are first delivered from the warehouse to our shop for inspection before being sent out to you via courier. We aim to dispatch all orders that are fulfilled from the warehouse location within 5 working days so you can typically expect delivery of your order within 5 -10 working days of placing your order.
Please note: Due to Britain leaving the EU in January 2021, some orders fulfilled from our suppliers warehouse's in the UK may experience delays if inspected by customs coming into Ireland. While the vast majority of orders are unaffected and arrive into the shop without delay, some orders are pulled by customs at random which will may result in a delay of dispatch of up to a week. Unfortunately these delays are out of our control but if your order is affected, rest assured we will do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible and notify you of delays if and when they arise.
Upon shipping of your order we will provide you with tracking details via email. If there is any issues that will cause delay we will contact you and offer you an alternative or refund if you do not wish to wait.
In the case that you wish to return the goods received in an order, you must return the product within 14 days of receipt. Before sending any items please contact us to confirm the return. The costs of the return are, unless otherwise stated, always to be borne by the buyer unless you are returning due to an error on our part. When packing the goods, be sure to carefully close the package and remove old address labels and old barcodes. In addition, you must present in each case a proof of purchase with the returned order (eg the bill). Please enclose proof of purchase inside the packaging and not visible on the outside of any parcels. The goods must not show any signs of use and must arrive in their entirety and in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt of your order.

If the delivered product does not conform to the description or is delivered in the wrong size, we will replace it with the correct product. If the product can not be exchanged, buyers will be given the opportunity to purchase a product with the same value or to have the full purchase refunded. Exchanges will be dispatched once we have received the original item/s. If a returned product has been proven to be used by the purchaser, no exchange will be permitted.
When purchasing from us, the statutory warranty provisions and warranty rights apply. The warranty period vary's with different products and brands and begins with the delivery of the goods. In the event of a defect or defect in the product, please contact us and we will get your warranty claim processed without delay.
