Its superb strength to weight ratio, its stiffness it's ride quality. It is timeless.

This Croix De Fer frameset sees the return of Reynolds 931 stainless steel to the lineup. A superbly stiff material giving a unique spring to your pedal stroke. 931 is also incredibly corrosion resistant.

A tapered head tube adds further stiffness to the front end whilst a threaded T47 bottom bracket shell increases surface area allowing for lighter tubes whilst opening up chainset compatibility.

The Croix De Fer 931 frameset is a superb base for a dream gravel build.

Features

• Beefed Up - A tapered head tube with external headset cups stiffen up the front end and accepts and amplitude G200 carbon gravel fork.Maximum tyre size matched the frame at 47mm.
  
• Precious Metal - Very responsive, near indestructible and incredibly beautiful. Reynolds 931 is a seamless, cold worked, precipitation-hardening (also known as artificial ageing/age hardening) steel alloy based on Carpenter Technology custom. 
• Internal Routing - Adaptable internal cable routing allows for a consistent look of the 931 with a wide range of drivetrains. Like all Croix De Fers, the 931 frameset can also take a dropper seatpost.
• Big treads - Stick volumous 700 x 47mm tyres to maximise traction and comfort, or run a slender 38mm slick for a capable all-road option. The 931 accepts a plethora of modern tyres.
