Staff bike for sale. Cannondale Topstone Alloy custom build for sale. This is a custom build gravel bike that was built from the frame up by one of our staff, ridden for a year and is now for sale at a bargain price. The Bike started life as a Cannondale Topstone 3 but was stripped down to the frame and fork and has been custom build to a really high spec. The brief was for a comfortable and reliable bike for gravel riding, commuting and bikepacking adventures.

The cannondale topstone has some of the most capable geometry of any gravel bike i've ridden and the out front geometry of the full carbon fibre makes the bike extremely stable off-road, at speed and when climbing out of the saddle. It's also got one of the tallest front end of any gravel bike making it ideal for taller riders or those looking for a comfortable endurance fit. this bike is ideal for Riders 6ft+ and is one of the best options for riders 6'3 - 6-7' as it's about 20mm taller in the front than any other bike in this category. 

The super light aluminium frame is one of the lightest comfiest aluminium gravel bikes on the market. The bike has all the mounts for accessories with toptube mounts, three bottle cage mounts, three pack mounts on the fork and rack and fender mounts on the frame.

Tyre clearance is much more generous than stated by the manufacturer and I've comfortably run 700 x 50c (29x2.00") Continental Race king Tyres on this setup with ample room.

The bike was built with Shimano's highest end mechanical groupset which overs a huge gear range, small jumps, crisp reliable shifting and confidence inspiring braking. A 180mm rotor at the front and 160mm ice-tec rotor at the back provides tons of braking power on and off-road.

The wheels were custom built with a Dependable dt swiss 350 rear hub and The front hub is a hunt hub that was swapped out for a dynamo and was never ridden. The rims are Dt swiss E550 alloy rims which are 30mm deep and have a 23mm internal width which I found to be plenty strong and a good fit for 32-50mm tyres that this bike suits. The rear hub was built with super fancy Sapim Cx ray bladed spokes which cost about €4.50 each so I could make a super strong wheel in the back without adding too much weight. The front uses a double dt swiss competition race for a bit more compliance in the front wheel. I also have a dynamo wheelset that could be added for a €150 surcharge if someone wanted a dynamo setup.

The bike have been fully rebuilt and serviced in preparation for sale with plenty of brand new parts. I swapped my power meter crankset, hope brake callipers and saddle across to my new bike so the cranks, chainring, bottom bracket, brake callipers with finned pads, bar tape, saddke and gear cable are all brand new and unridden. The tyres were ridden once.
